Extremists seize building in Jerusalem
A group of Jewish settlers early Sunday took over a building in Wadi Rababa neighborhood in Silwan town south of the Al-Aqsa mosque, a Palestinian source said.

A statement by Palestinian Information Centre in Wadi Hilweh, said a group of "Elaad" extremist settlers, under the protection of Israeli special forces, seized a Palestinian-owned building in Silwan with the aim of expanding illegal outposts in the area.

Jewish settlement organizations had seized a number of buildings and structures in different parts of Silwan town located south of the Al-Aqsa mosque to build illegal Jewish settlements in the area, the statement explained.

Israel's Jerusalem municipality had issued demolition orders to struck down and remove more than 88 Palestinian -owned buildings in the area, to establish Talmudic gardens and other projects to serve settlement plans in Al-Bustan neighborhood in Silwan, the centre explained.
