Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi on Thursday discussed with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shukri bilateral ties and ways of bolstering them.
Talks also touched on regional challenges and means to address them. The two ministers underlined the importance of taking practical and tangible steps to develop the joint Arab action, in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Safadi and Shukri discussed preparations for the upcoming Arab summit, which will be held in Jordan later this month. They also discussed the Palestinian cause, the Syrian crisis, the situation in Yemen and other regional issues.
